Lt.-Col. Hon. Bertram Aloysius Forbes was born on 26 May 1882.1 He was the son of George Arthur Hastings Forbes, 7th Earl of Granard and Hon. Frances Mary Petre.1 He died on 5 August 1960 at age 78, unmarried.1
He was educated at The Oratory School, Edgbaston, Warwickshire, England.1 He fought in the First World War, with the Egyptian Expeditionary Force, and was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He was awarded the Grand Officer, Order of the Nile.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.1 He gained the rank of Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in 1923 in the Royal Irish Rifles.1 He was Colonel of the Eygptian Army between 1932 and 1937.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1937.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1941 and 1942.1 He was Insepctor of POW Establishments.1

Lady Eva Mary Margaret Forbes was born on 25 June 1877. She was the daughter of George Arthur Hastings Forbes, 7th Earl of Granard and Hon. Frances Mary Petre.1 She married Brigadier John Percival de Nicolay, 13th Comte de Cherbourg in 1919.2 She died in 1968.1

George Savile was born on 24 November 1871.2 He was the son of John Charles George Savile, 4th Earl of Mexborough of Lifford and Agnes Louisa Elizabeth Raphael.2 He married Lady Margaret Mary Theresa Forbes, daughter of George Arthur Hastings Forbes, 7th Earl of Granard and Hon. Frances Mary Petre, on 22 September 1920.1 He died on 15 July 1937 at age 65.2
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Yorkshire Reigment.2 He gained the rank of Captain and 1st Assistant Superintendent between 1915 and 1917 in the Remount Service.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorskshire.2

Agnes Louisa Elizabeth Raphael was the daughter of John Raphael and Mary (?)1,2 She married John Charles George Savile, 4th Earl of Mexborough of Lifford, son of John Savile, 3rd Earl of Mexborough of Lifford and Lady Anne Yorke, on 27 July 1861.1 She died on 23 December 1898.1
