     Hon. Joseph Lucius Henry Petre was born on 22 April 1866.1 He was the son of William Bernard Petre, 12th Baron Petre and Mary Theresa Clifford.2 He died on 24 January 1900 at age 33 at Spion Kop, South AfricaG, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Suffolk Yeomanry Cavalry.1 He fought in the Boer War.1

She was the daughter of William Bernard Petre, 12th Baron Petre and Mary Theresa Clifford.1,2 She married George Arthur Hastings Forbes, 7th Earl of Granard, son of Maj.-Gen. George John Forbes, Viscount Forbes and Frances Mary Territt, on 4 September 1873.1 She died on 25 May 1920.1
     After her marriage, Hon. Frances Mary Petre was styled as Countess of Granard on 4 September 1873. From 4 September 1873, her married name became Forbes.

     George Arthur Hastings Forbes, 7th Earl of Granard was born on 5 August 1833.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. George John Forbes, Viscount Forbes and Frances Mary Territt.1 He married, firstly, Jane Colclough Morgan, daughter of Hamilton Knox Grogan Morgan, on 2 June 1858.1 He married, secondly, Hon. Frances Mary Petre, daughter of William Bernard Petre, 12th Baron Petre and Mary Theresa Clifford, on 4 September 1873.1 He died on 25 August 1889 at age 56.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Granard of Castle Donnington, co. Leicester [U.K., 1806] on 9 June 1837.1 He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Granard [I., 1684] on 9 June 1837.1 He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Forbes, of Castle Forbes, Co. Longford, Ireland [N.S., 1628] on 9 June 1837.1 He succeeded as the 7th Viscount of Granard, co. Longford [I., 1675] on 9 June 1837.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baron Clanehugh, co.      Jane Colclough Morgan was the daughter of Hamilton Knox Grogan Morgan.1 She married George Arthur Hastings Forbes, 7th Earl of Granard, son of Maj.-Gen. George John Forbes, Viscount Forbes and Frances Mary Territt, on 2 June 1858.1 She died on 22 January 1872.1
     After her marriage, Jane Colclough Morgan was styled as Countess of Granard on 2 June 1858. From 2 June 1858, her married name became Forbes.

     Lionel George Carroll Petre, 16th Baron Petre was born on 3 November 1890.1 He was the son of Philip Benedict Joseph Petre, 15th Baron Petre and Julia Mary Cavendish-Taylor.1 He married Catherine Margaret Boscawen, daughter of Hon. John Richard de Clare Boscawen and Lady Margaret Florence Lucy Byng, on 28 June 1913.2 He died on 30 September 1915 at age 24 at FranceG, from wounds received in action.1
     He was educated at The Oratory School, Edgbaston, Warwickshire, England.3 He succeeded as the 16th Baron Petre, of Writtle, co. Essex [E., 1603] on 6 December 1908.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.1 He fought in the First World War.1

     Catherine Margaret Boscawen was born on 29 May 1891.1 She was the daughter of Hon. John Richard de Clare Boscawen and Lady Margaret Florence Lucy Byng.1 She married, firstly, Lionel George Carroll Petre, 16th Baron Petre, son of Philip Benedict Joseph Petre, 15th Baron Petre and Julia Mary Cavendish-Taylor, on 28 June 1913.1 She married, secondly, Sir Frederick Carne Rasch, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Frederick Carne Rasch, 1st Bt. and Katherine Anne Griffenhoofe, on 21 July 1921.1 She died on 25 July 1983 at age 92.2
     From 28 June 1913, her married name became Petre. After her marriage, Catherine Margaret Boscawen was styled as Baroness Petre on 28 June 1913. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Essex in 1920.2 From 21 July 1921, her married name became Rasch.2

John Richard de Clare Boscawen was born on 19 December 1860.1 He was the son of Evelyn Boscawen, 6th Viscount Falmouth and Mary Frances Elizabeth Stapleton, Baroness le Despenser.1 He married Lady Margaret Florence Lucy Byng, daughter of George Stevens Byng, 2nd Earl of Strafford and Hon. Harriett Elizabeth Cavendish, on 11 June 1890.1 He died on 12 December 1915 at age 54.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Cornwall.1 He gained the rank of Captain and Honorary Major in the 4th Battalion, Oxfordshire Light Infantry.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cornwall.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.1

     Sir Frederick Carne Rasch, 2nd Bt. was born on 27 September 1880.1 He was the son of Sir Frederick Carne Rasch, 1st Bt. and Katherine Anne Griffenhoofe. He married Catherine Margaret Boscawen, daughter of Hon. John Richard de Clare Boscawen and Lady Margaret Florence Lucy Byng, on 21 July 1921.2 He died on 12 June 1963 at age 82, without issue.1
