     Frances Hammick was the daughter of Sir Stephen Love Hammick, 1st Bt. and Frances Turquand.¹ She died on 3 July 1871.¹

     Rachel Smith is the daughter of Gilbert Joshua Smith and Edith Charlotte Anderson-Pelham.^1,2 She married John Laurence Westmacott, son of Reverend Canon Westmacott, on 11 August 1921.³
     From 11 August 1921, her married name became Westmacott.¹

     Gilbert Joshua Smith was born on 17 December 1843.¹ He was the son of Spencer Smith and Frances Anne Seymour.¹ He married Edith Charlotte Anderson-Pelham, daughter of Captain Hon. Dudley Worsley Anderson-Pelham and Madalina Sinclair, on 10 August 1875.² He died on 4 February 1928 at age 84.¹
     He was also known as Captain Gilbert Joshua Spencer-Smith.³ He gained the rank of Captain in the 85th King's Regiment of Light Infantry, and 3rd Battalion Hampshire Regiment.³ He lived at Maidenstone Heath, Bursledon, Hampshire, England^G.³

     Henry James Craven-Smith married Susan Patricia Mary Hammick, daughter of Commander Stephen Aubone Hammick and Mary Elizabeth Westmacott, in 1973.¹

     David Megginson married Imogen Kate Hammick, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. Aubone St. Vincent Hammick and Cynthia Florence Katherine Shiell, in 1977.¹

     Sir Thomas Longmore was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Very Rev. William Henry Fleury Popham was born circa 1844.² He married Mary Elizabeth Amy Rymer, daughter of John Rymer, in 1876 at St. Saviour's, Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa.^1,2 He died before 1897.¹

     Mary Eliza Welch-Thornton was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry Welch-Thornton.¹ She married Sir George Frederick Hammick, 4th Bt., son of Vice-Admiral Robert Frederick Hammick and Grace Caroline Longman, on 5 May 1925.¹ She died in 1988.¹
     From 5 May 1925, her married name became Hammick.¹

     Lt.-Col. Henry Welch-Thornton lived at Stover, Newton Abbot, Devon, England^G.¹
