Aubone St. Vincent Hammick was born on 27 August 1925.¹ He was the son of Major St. Vincent Frederick Hammick and Annie Caroline Massingberd Pyke.² He married Cynthia Florence Katherine Shiell, daughter of William George Shiell and Hon. Violet Kitson, on 19 August 1948.¹ He died in 1992.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹
