Mary Anne Doughty was the daughter of Reverend George Clarke Doughty.1 She married, firstly, Gerard Montagu, son of Edward Montagu and Joanna Magdalena Bolwark, on 5 June 1785.1 She married, secondly, Reverend George Lucas on 16 February 1809.1 She died on 19 July 1835.1
From 5 June 1785, her married name became Montagu. From 16 February 1809, her married name became Lucas.1

Commander Edward Proudfoot Montagu was born on 23 April 1791.1 He was the son of Gerard Montagu and Mary Anne Doughty.2 He married Mary Anne Everard, daughter of Captain James Everard, on 4 September 1817.1 He died on 8 January 1862 at age 70.1
