Charles Snowden Fairfax was born on 8 March 1829.1 He was the son of Albert Fairfax and Caroline Eliza Snowden.1,2 He married Ada Benham, daughter of Joseph S. Benham, on 10 January 1855.1 He died on 4 April 1869 at age 40 at Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A.G, without issue.1
He succeeded as the 10th Lord Fairfax of Cameron [S., 1627] on 21 April 1846, de jure.1 He held the office of Speaker of the House of Delegates [California] in 1854.1 He was Clerk of the Supreme Court [California] between 1857 and 1862.1

Thomas Fairfax was born in 1762.1 He was the son of Reverend Bryan Fairfax, 8th Lord Fairfax of Cameron and Elizabeth Cary.2 He married, firstly, Mary Aylett in November 1795.1 He married, secondly, Louisa Washington, daughter of Colonel Warner Washington and Hannah Fairfax, in February 1798.1 He married, thirdly, Margaret Herbert, daughter of William Herbert and Sarah Carlyle, on 31 December 1800.2 He died on 21 April 1846.1
