Hon. Margaret Louisa Littleton was born on 29 December 1869.1 She was the daughter of Edward George Percy Littleton, 3rd Baron Hatherton and Charlotte Louisa Rowley.2 She married Brig.-Gen. Sir Bertram Percy Portal, son of Sir Wyndham Spencer Portal, 1st Bt. and Mary Jane Beach, on 12 April 1899.1 She died on 7 February 1945 at age 75, following a car crash.2
