     Sir Philip John Caledon Grey Egerton, 15th Bt. was born on 19 October 1920.¹ He was the son of Sir Philip Reginald Belward Grey Egerton, 14th Bt. and Dorothy Aveys Balguy.² He married, firstly, Margaret Voase Rank, daughter of Rowland Rank, on 4 June 1952.¹ He married, secondly, Frances Mary Rainey-Robinson, daughter of Lt.-Col. Robert Maximilian Rainey-Robinson and Alice Frances Hildebrand, in 1986.¹ He died on 19 February 2008 at age 87, without issue.³
