     Hugh Graham is the son of Admiral James Graham, 1st of Airth and Marion Hamilton.¹

     Margaret Hamilton was baptised on 7 July 1700 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.² She was the daughter of James Hamilton, Lord Pencaitland and Catherine Denholm.^3,2 She married Sir Alexander Gibson of Pentland, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Gibson of Pentland and Elizabeth Craig.¹

     Margaret Gibson is the daughter of Sir Alexander Gibson of Pentland, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Hamilton.² She married William Murray of Touchadam and Polmaise, son of John Murray, 14th of Touchadam and Polmaise and Anne Gibson.¹
     Her married name became Murray.¹

     William Murray of Touchadam and Polmaise was born on 1 October 1679.² He was the son of John Murray, 14th of Touchadam and Polmaise and Anne Gibson.² He married Margaret Gibson, daughter of Sir Alexander Gibson of Pentland, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Hamilton.¹ He died on 25 June 1758 at age 78.²

     Anne Gibson is the daughter of Sir Alexander Gibson of Pentland, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Hamilton.² She married George Seton, son of Sir Alexander Seton of Pitmedden, 1st Bt. and Margaret Lauder.¹
     Her married name became Seton.

     Forbes McBean Chevers was born in 1774.¹ He was the son of Edward Chevers.¹ He died in 1847.¹

     John Gibson is the son of Sir John Gibson of Pentland and Elizabeth Craig.²
     He was a merchant at London, England^G.¹

     Sir John Gibson of Pentland, 4th Bt. was the son of John Gibson.² He married Henrietta Watson, daughter of James Watson of Saughton, in 1775.¹ He died on 29 March 1781.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Gibson, of Keirhill, Midlothian [N.S., 1702] on 15 April 1774.¹

     Henrietta Watson was the daughter of James Watson of Saughton.² She married Sir John Gibson of Pentland, 4th Bt., son of John Gibson, in 1775.¹ She died on 8 March 1803.¹
     From 1775, her married name became Gibson.¹
