     Jean Marjoribanks was the daughter of Edward Marjoribanks and Agnes Murray.^1,2 She married, firstly, Sir Thomas Gibson of Keirhill, 1st Bt., son of Sir John Gibson of Pentland and Addistone and unknown wife (?), on 11 June 1701.¹ She married, secondly, Reverend George Arbuthnot on 22 June 1718.¹ She died on 13 February 1724.¹
     From 11 June 1701, her married name became Gibson.¹ From 22 June 1718, her married name became Arbuthnot.¹
