     Commander Roger Frederick was born on 5 September 1900.¹ He was the son of Henry Penrice Frederick and Margaret Beevor.² He married Nora Mary Whitehead, daughter of Colonel Herbert Mansfield Whitehead, on 1 August 1928.¹ He died on 21 March 1991 at age 90.^1,3
