     Emily Caroline Rising was born circa 1833.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Rising.² She married George Septimus Frederick, son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Frederick and Anne Susannah Glasse, on 23 September 1851.¹ She died on 30 November 1925.¹
     From 23 September 1851, her married name became Frederick.

     George Charles Frederick was born on 2 August 1855.¹ He was the son of George Septimus Frederick and Emily Caroline Rising.² He married Nellie Martin, daughter of George Peter Martin, on 4 January 1881.¹ He died on 5 January 1951 at age 95.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He was Naval Aide to the Board of Trade.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.¹
