     Ida Caroline Forbes is the daughter of John Charles Marriott Forbes and Ellen Frances Augier.²

     Lt.-Col. Edward Millet Forbes was born on 6 October 1843.¹ He was the son of Hon. Robert Forbes and Frances Dorothy Hodges.² He married, firstly, Eva Rebecca Taylor, daughter of John Taylor, in 1871.¹ He married, secondly, Juliet Amy Reynolds, daughter of Herbert John Reynolds, on 5 June 1901.¹ He died on 25 September 1905 at age 61.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Staff Corps.¹

     Eva Rebecca Taylor is the daughter of John Taylor.² She married Lt.-Col. Edward Millet Forbes, son of Hon. Robert Forbes and Frances Dorothy Hodges, in 1871.¹
     From 1871, her married name became Forbes.

     Lt.-Col. Edward Ernest Forbes was born on 16 January 1875.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Edward Millet Forbes and Eva Rebecca Taylor.² He died on 26 March 1922 at age 47.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Indian Army.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1919.¹

     Fanny Louisa Forbes is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Millet Forbes and Eva Rebecca Taylor.²

     Lilian Julia Forbes is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Millet Forbes and Eva Rebecca Taylor.²

     Eva Maria Forbes was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Edward Millet Forbes and Eva Rebecca Taylor.² She died on 8 April 1953, unmarried.¹

     Herbert John Reynolds was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)¹

     Juliet Amy Reynolds is the daughter of Herbert John Reynolds.² She married Lt.-Col. Edward Millet Forbes, son of Hon. Robert Forbes and Frances Dorothy Hodges, on 5 June 1901.¹
     From 5 June 1901, her married name became Forbes.
