He was created 1st Baronet Poore, of Rushall, Wiltshire [Great Britain] on 8 July 1795, with a special remainder to his elder brother Edward.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1797.1

Alicia Charlotte Poore was the daughter of Sir Edward Poore, 2nd Bt. and Agnes Marjoribanks.2 She married Reverend Francis Macaulay Cunningham, son of Reverend John William Cunningham, on 16 November 1843.1 She died on 12 July 1894.1

Sir Charles Ludowicke Cottrell was the son of Sir Charles Cotterell and unknown daughter West.1 He married Elizabeth Chute, daughter of Chaloner Chute and Catherine Lennard. He married Eliza Burwell, daughter of Nicholas Burwell. He died in July 1710.1
He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He held the office of Master of the Ceremonies in 1686.1 He was appointed Knight on 18 February 1686/87.1
