     Sir Francis Dugdale Astley, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 November 1805.2 He was the son of Sir John Dugdale Astley, 1st Bt. and Sarah Page.3 He married Emma Dorothea Lethbridge, daughter of Sir Thomas Buckler Lethbridge, 2nd Bt. and Anne Goddard, on 18 November 1826.4 He died on 23 July 1873 at age 67.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Astley, of Everley, co. Wilts [U.K., 1821] on 19 January 1842.2

     Sir John Dugdale Astley, 1st Bt. was born on 27 June 1778.1 He was the son of Francis Dugdale Astley and Mary Buckler.1,2 He married Sarah Page, daughter of William Page, on 27 July 1803.1 He died on 19 January 1842 at age 63.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) between 1820 and 1834.3 He was created 1st Baronet Astley, of Everley, co. Wilts [U.K.] on 15 August 1821.3

     Sarah Page is the daughter of William Page.1 She married Sir John Dugdale Astley, 1st Bt., son of Francis Dugdale Astley and Mary Buckler, on 27 July 1803.1
     From 27 July 1803, her married name became Astley.1

Sir Mark Masterman-Sykes, 3rd Bt.1

     Sir Mark Masterman-Sykes, 3rd Bt. was born on 20 August 1771.2 He was the son of Sir Christopher Sykes, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Tatton.2 He married, firstly, Henrietta Masterman, daughter of Henry Masterman, on 11 November 1795.2 He married, secondly, Mary Elizabeth Egerton, daughter of William Tatton Egerton and Mary Wilbraham-Bootle, on 2 August 1814.1 He died on 16 February 1823 at age 51, without issue.1
     He was also known as Mark Sykes.2 In 1795 his name was legally changed to Mark Masterman-Sykes.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Sykes, of Sledmere, co. Yorks [G.B., 1783] on 17 September 1801.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) between 1807 and 1820.1 He added to the Sledmere library, including a Gutenberg bible.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Yorkshire.2

Sir Christopher Sykes, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Christopher Sykes, 2nd Bt. was born on 23 May 1749.2 He was the son of Reverend Sir Mark Sykes, 1st Bt. and Decima Woodham.2 He married Elizabeth Tatton, daughter of William Tatton and Hester Egerton, on 23 October 1770.2 He died on 17 September 1801 at age 52.1
     He added two wings and 120–ft library to Sledmere.2 He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He graduated with a Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Sykes, of Sledmere, co. Yorks [G.B., 1783] on 14 September 1783.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for BEverley between 1784 and 1790.2 He was founder of agricultural development at Yorkshire Wolds which on his death was an estate of 30,000 acres.2

     Captain Thomas Humphrey Sneyd was the son of Maj.-Gen. Thomas William Sneyd and Charlotte Marion Repton.2 He married Phoebe Marianne Brodie, daughter of John Sharp Callender Brodie, before 1914.1 He died on 2 November 1914, killed in action.1,2
     He lived at Basford Hall, Leek, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers.2 He fought in the First World War.2
