     Sir William Gwynne-Evans, 1st Bt. was born on 3 February 1845.1 He was the son of Evan Evans and Mary Lewis.2 He married, firstly, Mary Anna Williams, daughter of Evan Williams, on 1 August 1866.1 He married, secondly, Blanche Sophia Besant, daughter of Reverend John Charles Eldridge Besant, on 12 October 1909.1 He died on 23 January 1927 at age 81.2
     He was given the name of William Evans at birth.2 In 1913 his name was legally changed to William Gwynne-Evans by Royal Licence.2 He was created 1st Baronet Gwynne-Evans [U.K.] on 17 June 1913.1

     Mary Anna Williams was the daughter of Evan Williams.2 She married Sir William Gwynne-Evans, 1st Bt., son of Evan Evans and Mary Lewis, on 1 August 1866.1 She died on 16 October 1902.1
     From 1 August 1866, her married name became Evans.

Sir Evan Gwynne Gwynne-Evans, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Evan Gwynne Gwynne-Evans, 2nd Bt. was born on 4 May 1877.1 He was the son of Sir William Gwynne-Evans, 1st Bt. and Mary Anna Williams.2 He married Ada Jane Andrews, daughter of Walter Scott Andrews, on 13 March 1908.1 He died on 2 February 1959 at age 81.1
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Army Service Corps.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Gwynne-Evans [U.K., 1913] on 23 January 1927.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Gloucestershire in 1943.2

     He was a Fellow and Lecturer at University College London, London, EnglandG.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.)1 He had a daughter.2

     Jean Anne Evans was born on 11 March 1871.1 She was the daughter of Sir William Gwynne-Evans, 1st Bt. and Mary Anna Williams.2 She married Guy Estelle Morley on 11 December 1894.1 She died on 26 April 1938 at age 67, without issue.1
     From 11 December 1894, her married name became Morley.
