     Colonel George Larkins was born on 5 October 1807 at Blackheath, Kent, England.² He married, firstly, Eliza Georgiana Belvedere Battley, daughter of Thomas Cade Battley and Belinda Arabella Grange, on 13 January 1834 at Muttra, Bengal, India.² He married, secondly, Emma Ewart Carnachan, daughter of Robert Carnachan and Isabella Douglas, in 1838.² He died on 27 June 1857 at age 49 at Cawnpore, India, from heatstroke and delirium.²
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Bengal Artillery.¹

     Alice Schaffalitzky Larkins was the daughter of Colonel George Larkins and Emma Ewart Carnachan.^2,3 She married Rev. Canon Raymond Percy Pelly, son of Raymond Pelly and Louisa Fry, on 4 February 1864.¹ She died on 6 September 1928.¹
     From 4 February 1864, her married name became Pelly.

     From 14 May 1898, her married name became Pelly.

     Air Chief Marshal Sir Claude Bernard Raymond Pelly was born on 19 August 1902.¹ He was the son of Reverend Douglas Raymond Pelly and Verena Noellie Herbert.² He married Margaret Ogilvie Spencer, daughter of Edward J. Spencer, on 15 February 1930.¹ He died on 12 August 1972 at age 69.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Air Force College, Cranwell, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹ He was commissioned in 1931, in the service of the Royal Air Force.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1933.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1942.¹ He was awarded the Order of King George I of Greece in 1946.¹ He was Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operational Requirements) between 1948 and 1951.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1950.¹ He was Commander-in-Chief of the Middle East Air Force in 1953.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1954.¹ He was Controller of Aircraft, Ministry of Supply in 1956.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1958.¹ He retired from the military in 1959, with the rank of Air Chief Marshal.¹

     Edward J. Spencer lived at Hove, Sussex, England^G, Hove.¹

     Margaret Ogilvie Spencer was the daughter of Edward J. Spencer.² She married Air Chief Marshal Sir Claude Bernard Raymond Pelly, son of Reverend Douglas Raymond Pelly and Verena Noellie Herbert, on 15 February 1930.¹ She died in 1990.¹
     From 15 February 1930, her married name became Pelly.

     John Douglas Raymond Pelly was born on 22 January 1934.¹ He was the son of Air Chief Marshal Sir Claude Bernard Raymond Pelly and Margaret Ogilvie Spencer.² He died on 29 June 1937 at age 3.¹
