Katherine Jane Slaughter was the daughter of John Slaughter.2 She married James Edward Ferguson Murray, son of Maj.-Gen. James Patrick Murray and Elizabeth Rushworth, on 15 December 1830.1 She died on 22 July 1836.1

James Pulteney Murray was born on 8 June 1833.1 He was the son of James Edward Ferguson Murray and Katherine Jane Slaughter.2 He married Henrietta Victoria Blakiston, daughter of Arthur Browne Blakiston, on 11 September 1862.1 He died on 21 August 1874 at age 41.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Marines Light Infantry.1

William Harry Elibank Murray was born on 5 December 1866.1 He was the son of James Pulteney Murray and Henrietta Victoria Blakiston.2 He married Bertha Delamore Brougham, daughter of Patrick Brougham, on 14 December 1892.1 He died on 28 September 1937 at age 70.1

Douglas Elibank Murray was born in November 1898.1 He was the son of William Harry Elibank Murray and Bertha Delamore Brougham.2 He married, firstly, Rewa O'Hara, daughter of Joseph Patrick O'Hara, on 24 April 1935.1 He and Rewa O'Hara were divorced in 1944.1 He married, secondly, Ngaio Milva Barnott on 12 July 1947.1 He died on 1 December 1989 at age 91.1
