Captain Percy Richard Hare was born on 2 April 1870.2 He was the son of Hon. Hugh Henry Hare and Georgiana Caroline Browne.2 He married Matilda Gertrude Tiarks, daughter of Henry Frederic Tiarks and Agnes Morris, on 21 April 1903.3 He died on 8 February 1937 at age 66.3
