Colonel Nigel Victor Stopford Sackville was born on 27 January 1901.1 He was the son of Colonel Lionel Richard Stopford Sackville and Constance Evelyn Gosling.1 He married, firstly, Beatrix Helen Constance Pakenham, daughter of Colonel Hercules Arthur Pakenham and Lillian Blanche Georgiana Ashley, on 17 July 1929.1 He and Beatrix Helen Constance Pakenham were divorced in 1943.1 He married, secondly, Lilah Mary Hare, daughter of Captain Percy Richard Hare and Matilda Gertrude Tiarks, on 14 November 1946.1 He died on 1 December 1972 at age 71 at Thrapston, Northamptonshire, England.2
