Richard Dane was born in 1770.1 He was the son of John Dane and Elisabeth Auchinleck.2 He married Anna Auchinleck, daughter of Reverend Alexander Auchinleck and Jane Eccles, on 12 August 1809.1 He died on 29 January 1842.1
He held the office of High Sheriff of County Fermanagh in 1816.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Fermanagh.1 He was Provost of Belturbet.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Fermanagh.1 He lived at Killyhevlin, County Fermanagh, IrelandG.1
