     Robin Richard Allen was born on 23 July 1940.1 He was the son of Samuel Carson Fitzwilliam Allen and Barbara Welford Dixon.1 He married Hon. Fiona Mary Fraser, daughter of Simon Christopher Joseph Fraser, 15th Lord (Fraser of) Lovat and Rosamond Broughton, in 1982.2 He died on 6 February 2011 at age 70 at Florence, Italy.3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1
