Thomas Oliphant, 1st of Rossie Hill1

     Thomas Oliphant, 1st of Rossie Hill was the son of Laurence Oliphant, 1st of Condie.2 He married Isobel Moncrieff, daughter of William Moncrieff of Kintillo and Helen Moncrieff, on 7 April 1646.3,4 He died in 1704.5
     He held the lands of Rossie, ancestor of the Oliphants of Rossie.1

     Marianne Oliphant was the daughter of James Stuart Oliphant of Rossie and Anna Reade.2,3 She married Laurence Oliphant, 8th of Condie, son of Ebenezer Oliphant and Mary Stirling, on 19 August 1841.1 She died on 24 February 1895.1

     Laurence Oliphant, 3rd of Condie is the son of Laurence Oliphant, 2nd of Condie and Mariota Blackadder.2 He married Helen Wemyss, daughter of unknown Wemyss.1
     In 1653 she was retoured heir.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court between 1672 and 1677.1
