Sir George Preston of Valleyfield, 1st Bt. was born in 1614 at Valleyfield, Fife, ScotlandG.2 He is the son of Sir John Preston, 4th of Valleyfield and Grizel Colville.2 A contract for the marriage of Sir George Preston of Valleyfield, 1st Bt. and Marion Sempill was signed on 4 May 1636.3 He died on 26 November 1679.2
