     Mary Bold-Hoghton was born on 7 June 1825.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Henry Bold-Hoghton, 8th Bt. and Dorothea Bold.² She married Colonel John Ireland Blackburne, son of John Ireland Blackburne, on 12 November 1846.¹ She died on 30 April 1855 at age 29.¹
     From 12 November 1846, her married name became Blackburne.

     He was given the name of Daniel Bold-Hoghton at birth.² On 4 January 1875 his name was legally changed to Daniel de Hoghton by Royal Licence.² He gained the rank of Major in the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹

     Mary Jones was the daughter of Henry Jones.² She married Daniel de Hoghton, son of Sir Henry Bold-Hoghton, 8th Bt. and Harriet Sarah Smith, in 1888.¹ She died on 22 November 1933.¹
