     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from King's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)¹ He was Librarian of the Royal College of Surgeons.¹ He wrote the book A Bio-bibliography of Edward Jenner.¹ He wrote the book Betsy Sheridan's Journal.¹ He was President of the Huguenot Society between 1956 and 1959.¹ He lived in 1976 at Shottesbrook, Boreham, Chelmsford, Essex, England^G.¹

     Gerald Edward Campbell Maconchy married Violet Mary Poë, daughter of Captain George Leslie Poë and Mary Caldecott Charley.

     Elizabeth Violet Maconchy is the daughter of Gerald Edward Campbell Maconchy.² She married William Richard Le Fanu, son of Thomas Philip Le Fanu and Florence Sophia Mabel Sullivan, on 23 April 1930.¹
     She was registered as a Associate, Royal College of Music (A.R.C.M.)¹ From 23 April 1930, her married name became Le Fanu.¹ She was a distinguished composer.¹ She was Chairmam of the Composers Guild of Great Britain in 1960.¹

     Elizabeth Anna Le Fanu was born on 24 October 1939.¹ She is the daughter of William Richard Le Fanu and Elizabeth Violet Maconchy.² She married Dr. Francis Ninian Dunlop, son of Very Rev. Colin Dunlop, on 1 September 1962.¹
     She graduated from St. Hilda's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Very Rev. Colin Dunlop held the office of Dean of Lincoln.¹

     Dr. Francis Ninian Dunlop is the son of Very Rev. Colin Dunlop.² He married Elizabeth Anna Le Fanu, daughter of William Richard Le Fanu and Elizabeth Violet Maconchy, on 1 September 1962.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)¹ He lived in 1976 at 257 Unthank Road, Norwich, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Christopher Dunlop was born on 28 October 1963.¹ He is the son of Dr. Francis Ninian Dunlop and Elizabeth Anna Le Fanu.²
