Hon. Eileen Mabel Lowther Crofton was born on 24 March 1894.1 She was the daughter of Arthur Edward Lowther Crofton, 4th Baron Crofton of Mote and Jessie Castle Hewitson.2 She married Commander Sir Geoffrey Henry Hughes-Onslow, son of Major Arthur Hughes-Onslow and Anne Kathleen Whitehead, on 23 September 1918.1 She died in 1972.1
