     Major Henry Shaw was the son of Ponsonby Shaw.2 He married Wilhelmina McMahon, daughter of Sir William McMahon, 1st Bt. and Charlotte Shaw, in 1844.1 He died in 1886.1

     Emily Anne Westropp was the daughter of Michael Robert Westropp.2 She married Lt.-Gen. Sir Thomas McMahon, 2nd Bt., son of John McMahon and Mary Stacpoole, on 27 August 1808.1 She died on 11 May 1866.1
     From 27 August 1808, her married name became McMahon.1

     General Sir Thomas Westropp McMahon, 3rd Bt. was the son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Thomas McMahon, 2nd Bt. and Emily Anne Westropp.2 He married, firstly, Dora Paulina Baillie, daughter of Evan Hamilton Baillie, on 7 October 1851.1 He married, secondly, Frances Mary Holford, daughter of John Holford and Ann Shaw, on 13 January 1859.1 He married, thirdly, Constance Marianne Langford, daughter of Captain Netherton Langford, on 14 August 1888.1 He died on 23 January 1892.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He fought in the Battle of Sobraon on 10 February 1846.1 He was commander of the Cavalry Brigade, Aldershot.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 18th Hussars.1 He fought in the Crimean War.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 5th Dragoon Guards.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet McMahon [U.K., 1817] on 10 April 1860.1 He was Inspector-General of Cavalry.1

     Frances Mary Holford was born circa 1838 at Rusholme Hall, Manchester, Lancashire, England.2 She was the daughter of John Holford and Ann Shaw.2 She married General Sir Thomas Westropp McMahon, 3rd Bt., son of Lt.-Gen. Sir Thomas McMahon, 2nd Bt. and Emily Anne Westropp, on 13 January 1859.1 She died on 14 April 1867.1
     From 13 January 1859, her married name became McMahon.1

     Sir Aubrey Hope McMahon, 4th Bt. was born on 26 August 1862.1 He was the son of General Sir Thomas Westropp McMahon, 3rd Bt. and Frances Mary Holford.2 He died on 8 April 1893 at age 30, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant and Adjutant in the Grenadier Guards.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet McMahon [U.K., 1817] on 23 January 1892.1

Lt.-Col. Sir Horace Westropp McMahon, 5th Bt.1

     Lt.-Col. Sir Horace Westropp McMahon, 5th Bt. was born on 28 October 1863.1 He was the son of General Sir Thomas Westropp McMahon, 3rd Bt. and Frances Mary Holford.2 He married Ellie Maude Moses, daughter of Hon. Henry Moses, on 3 May 1911.1 He died on 9 July 1932 at age 68, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet McMahon [U.K., 1817] on 8 April 1893.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1896, where he was mentioned in despatches and was severely wounded.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Welch Fusiliers.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 9th Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Colonel and Group Commander in 1916.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant-Colone| and Commandant in 1917 in the Corps School.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre avec Palmes.1
