Mark Fenwick was born circa 1861.2 He married, firstly, Mary Sophia Clayton, daughter of Nathaniel George Clayton and Isabel Ogle, on 18 January 1883.3 He married, secondly, Eleanor Sarah Bankes, daughter of William John Bankes and Eleanor Starkie Letterewe Bankes, on 12 November 1925.4 He died on 28 January 1945.2
He was awarded the Victoria Medal of Honour of the Royal Horticultural Society.2 He lived at Abbotswood, Stow-on-the-Wold, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.4
