     Alfred Edye Manning Foster was born on 1 December 1874.² He was the son of Thomas Gregory Foster and Sophie Allday.² He married, firstly, Eleanor Margaret Elizabeth Franks, daughter of Thomas Franks and Eleanor Marion Franks, on 23 October 1901.³ He married, secondly, Olga Bijou Dinah Curtis, daughter of Brig.-Gen. William Frederick de Hubbenet Curtis and Mary Owen Nicholls, on 29 December 1928.¹ He died on 25 August 1939 at age 64.²
     He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.³ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Literature (F.R.S.L.)²

     Joceline Sophia Lilian Curtis is the daughter of Brig.-Gen. William Frederick de Hubbenet Curtis and Mary Owen Nicholls.² She married Paul Stutfield, son of C. H. Stutfield, on 2 May 1925.¹
     From 2 May 1925, her married name became Stutfield.

     Paul Stutfield is the son of C. H. Stutfield.² He married Joceline Sophia Lilian Curtis, daughter of Brig.-Gen. William Frederick de Hubbenet Curtis and Mary Owen Nicholls, on 2 May 1925.¹

     Colonel James Charles Curtis was born on 8 January 1820.¹ He was the son of Timothy Abraham Curtis and Margaret Harriet Green.² He married Harriet Hamilton, daughter of Colonel George William Hamilton, on 25 April 1854.¹ He died on 10 October 1889 at age 69.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Bengal Staff Corps.¹

     Colonel George William Hamilton was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)¹

     Harriet Hamilton was the daughter of Colonel George William Hamilton.² She married Colonel James Charles Curtis, son of Timothy Abraham Curtis and Margaret Harriet Green, on 25 April 1854.¹ She died on 15 September 1913.¹
     From 25 April 1854, her married name became Curtis.

     Captain George Arthur Hamilton Curtis was born on 28 October 1859.¹ He was the son of Colonel James Charles Curtis and Harriet Hamilton.² He married Elizabeth Mary MacDonnell, daughter of Edmund MacDonnell, in 1891.¹ He died on 14 August 1933 at age 73.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Reserve.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Australian Navy.¹ He also had a daughter.¹

     Edmund MacDonnell lived at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹
