     Robert Dormer, 1st Baron Dormer of Wyng was baptised on 26 January 1551 at Wing, Buckinghamshire, England^G.² He was the son of Sir William Dormer and Dorothy Catesby.² He married Hon. Elizabeth Browne, daughter of Anthony Browne, 1st Viscount Montagu and Magdalen Dacre, circa 1590.² He died on 8 November 1616 at age 65.³
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Tregony in 1571.³ He held the office of High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire from 1584 to 1585.³ He was appointed Knight in 1591.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Buckinghamshire from 1592 to 1593.³ He was created 1st Baronet Dormer, of Wyng, co.      Hon. Elizabeth Browne was the daughter of Anthony Browne, 1st Viscount Montagu and Magdalen Dacre.¹ She married Robert Dormer, 1st Baron Dormer of Wyng, son of Sir William Dormer and Dorothy Catesby, circa 1590.² She died after 29 September 1623.²
     From circa 1590, her married name became Dormer.² After her marriage, Hon. Elizabeth Browne was styled as Baroness Dormer of Wyng on 30 June 1615.

     Sir Thomas Dyke Acland, 7th/11th Bt. was born on 25 May 1809 at Killerton, Devon, England^G.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Dyke Acland, 6th/10th Bt. and Lydia Elizabeth Hoare.¹ He was baptised on 15 June 1809.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Mordaunt, daughter of Sir Charles Mordaunt, 8th Bt. and Marianne Holbech, on 14 March 1841 at Walton, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Erskine, daughter of John Erskine and Mary Mordaunt, on 18 July 1856.¹ He died on 29 May 1898 at age 89 at Killerton, Devon, England^G.² His will (dated at over £74,141 gross) was proven (by probate.)²

     Montagu Peregrine Albemarle Bertie, 12th Earl of Lindsey was born on 3 September 1861.¹ He was the son of Montagu Peregrine Bertie, 11th Earl of Lindsey and Felicia Elizabeth Welby.¹ He married Millicent Cox, daughter of James Charles Cox and Margaret Wharton MacClennan, on 12 February 1890.¹ He died on 2 January 1938 at age 76.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 4th Battalion, Northamptonshire Regiment.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor of New South Wales between 1885 and 1888.¹ He succeeded as the 12th Earl of Lindsey, co.      From 21 February 1609/10, her married name became Dormer.³

     Sir Richard Molyneux, 1st Bt. was born circa 1560.² He was the son of William Molyneux and Bridget Caryll.³ He married Frances Gerard, daughter of Sir Gilbert Gerard and Anne Ratcliffe, circa 1590.⁴ He died on 8 February 1622/23.⁴
     He was appointed Knight in 1586.⁴ He was created 1st Baronet Molyneux, of Sefton, Lancashire [England] on 22 May 1611.¹ He had five other sons and three other daughters.⁴

     Robert Dormer, 1st Earl of Carnarvon was born circa 1610.¹ He was the son of Sir William Dormer and Alice Molyneux.¹ He married Lady Anna Sophia Herbert, daughter of Philip Herbert, 4th Earl of Pembroke and Lady Susan de Vere, on 27 February 1624/25.¹ He died on 20 September 1643, killed in action.¹ He was buried at Jesus College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was buried on 3 August 1653 at Wing, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Dormer, of Wyng, co.      Lord Clarendon wrote "before the war he seemed to be wholly delighted with hunting, hawking and the like, after the troubles began he wholly gave himself up to the office and duty of a soldier, no man more diligently obliging or more dextrously commanding, for he was not only of a very keen courage, but an excellent discerner and pursuer of advantage upon his enemy. He had a mind and understanding very present in the article of danger; was a great lover of justice and practised it then most deliberately when he had power to do wrong.      Lady Anna Sophia Herbert was born in 1610.³ She was the daughter of Philip Herbert, 4th Earl of Pembroke and Lady Susan de Vere.¹ She married Robert Dormer, 1st Earl of Carnarvon, son of Sir William Dormer and Alice Molyneux, on 27 February 1624/25.¹ She died on 3 June 1643.⁴
     From 27 February 1624/25, her married name became Dormer.¹
