Alexander Richardson was the son of Sir Robert Richardson of Pencaitland, 1st Bt. and Euphan Curriehill.1 He died in 1639, without male issue.1

John Rollo, 8th Lord Rollo of Duncrub was born on 22 April 1773.2 He was the son of James Rollo, 7th Lord Rollo of Duncrub and Mary Aytoun.2 He married Agnes Greig, daughter of William Greig, on 12 June 1806.2 He died on 24 December 1846 at age 73.2
He succeeded as the 8th Lord Rollo of Duncrub, co. Perth [S., 1651] on 14 April 1784.2 He gained the rank of Ensign in 1790 in the Scots Guards.2 He fought in the Flanders Campaign between 1793 and 1795.2 He was director of the Commercial Bank of Scotland.2 He was appointed Representative Peer [Scoltand] between 1841 and 1846.2

Hon. Martha Rollo was the daughter of John Rollo, 8th Lord Rollo of Duncrub and Agnes Greig.2 She married Lt.-Gen. Robert Richardson-Robertson, son of James Richardson and Elizabeth Stewart, on 26 September 1850.1 She died on 17 September 1857, without issue.1

Christina Richardson was the daughter of James Richardson and Elizabeth Stewart.2 She married Robert Clerk-Rattray of Craighall-Rattray, 25th of Rattray, son of James Clerk-Rattray of Craighall-Rattray, 24th of Rattray and Jane Duff, on 12 February 1824.2 She died in 1882.2

Sir Robert Richardson of Pencaitland, 1st Bt. was the son of Robert Richardson and Elizabeth (?)2 He married Euphan Curriehill, daughter of Sir John Skene of Curriehill, on 4 January 1610.1 He died in 1635.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Haddingtonshire [Scotland] in 1630.1 He was created 1st Baronet Richardson, of Pitfour Castle, co. Perth [Nova Scotia] on 13 November 1630.1 He sold an estate (evidently not Pencaitland, however) to John Sinclair, being on bad terms with his son in 1634.1 He lived at Pencaitland, East Lothian, ScotlandG.1
