     Sir Henry Grey, 2nd Bt. was baptised on 15 November 1722.¹ He was the son of Sir Henry Grey, 1st Bt. and Hannah Wood.¹ He died on 30 March 1808 at age 85, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Grey, of Howick, co. Northumberland [G.B., 1746] circa May 1749.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Northumberland between 1754 and 1768.¹

     Thomas Grey was the son of Sir Henry Grey, 1st Bt. and Hannah Wood.¹ He died, killed in a duel with Lord Pomfret.¹

     General Sir Henry George Grey was born on 25 October 1766.¹ He was the son of General Charles Grey, 1st Earl Grey and Elizabeth Grey.¹ He married Charlotte Des Voeux, daughter of Sir Charles Philip Vinchon Des Voeux, 1st Bt., on 20 August 1812.¹ He died on 11 January 1845 at age 78.¹
     He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Hanoverian Order (G.C.H.)¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 13th Light Dragoons.¹

     Charlotte Des Voeux was born circa 1789.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Charles Philip Vinchon Des Voeux, 1st Bt.¹ She married General Sir Henry George Grey, son of General Charles Grey, 1st Earl Grey and Elizabeth Grey, on 20 August 1812.¹ She died on 12 February 1882.¹
     From 20 August 1812, her married name became Grey.¹

     William Thomas Grey was born on 22 April 1807.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. William Grey and Maria Shirreff.¹ He married Maria Georgiana Shirreff, daughter of Admiral William Henry Shirreff and Elizabeth Murray, on 7 January 1841.¹ He died on 13 March 1864 at age 56, without issue.¹

     Maria Georgiana Shirreff was the daughter of Admiral William Henry Shirreff and Elizabeth Murray.¹ She married William Thomas Grey, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. William Grey and Maria Shirreff, on 7 January 1841.¹ She died on 19 September 1906.¹
     From 7 January 1841, her married name became Grey.¹

     Admiral William Henry Shirreff is the son of General William Shirreff. He married Elizabeth Murray, daughter of Hon. David Murray and Elizabeth Harley, in 1810.²
     He gained the rank of Admiral in the Royal Navy.¹

     Caroline Nesbit Macan was born in 1823 at Calcutta, India.² She was the daughter of Major Turner Macan and Harriet Sneyd.^1,2 She married Captain Charles Conrad Grey, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. William Grey and Maria Shirreff, on 23 April 1844.¹ She died on 11 October 1854.¹
     From 23 April 1844, her married name became Grey.¹

     Alexander Robert Patrick David Balchin was born on 8 November 2013.¹ He is the son of Hon. Thomas Aubrey Bernard David Balchin and Deirdre Mary C. Muldoon.¹
