Katherine Frederica Ellice was the daughter of Captain Alexander Ellice.2 She married Francis Fortescue, son of Commander Henry Fortescue and Caroline Russell, on 16 June 1855.1 She died on 13 April 1884.1

Henry Fortescue was born on 15 May 1856.1 He was the son of Francis Fortescue and Katherine Frederica Ellice.2 He married Maud Elizabeth Holden, daughter of William Holden and Julia Paulet, on 26 May 1885.1 He died in June 1940 at age 84, without issue.1
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk.1 He gained the rank of Brevet-Colonel.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cambridgeshire.1 He was Deputy Assistant Quarter-Master General of the Eastern Command in 1914.1 He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the 17th Lancers.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the King Edward's Horse.1 He was awarded the Commander, Order of the Crown of Italy.1 He was Military Secretary with the Intelligence Department in 1917.1

Colonel Francis Alexander Fortescue was born on 10 April 1858.1 He was the son of Francis Fortescue and Katherine Frederica Ellice.2 He married Mary Teresa Jenkinson, daughter of Henry T. J. Jenkinson, on 25 June 1885.1 He died on 12 October 1942 at age 84.1
