     Major Charles Henry Alexander was born on 2 June 1856.¹ He was the son of John Alexander and Esther Brinkley.¹ He married Isabel Annie Ross, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Campbell Claye Grant Ross, on 17 March 1891.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Isabel Annie Ross was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Campbell Claye Grant Ross.¹ She married Major Charles Henry Alexander, son of John Alexander and Esther Brinkley, on 17 March 1891.¹
     From 17 March 1891, her married name became Alexander.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Campbell Claye Grant Ross was born in 1824 at India.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hugh Ross and Eliza Watson.² He married Matilda Elderton, daughter of M. E. Elderton, in 1856.¹
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1880.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in 1881.¹ He lived at Lothian House, Ryde, Isle of Wight, England^G.³

     George Alexander was born on 20 June 1858.¹ He was the son of John Alexander and Esther Brinkley.¹ He married Louisa Bayley, daughter of Kennett Bayley and Louisa Jane Bowling, on 2 January 1891.¹ He died on 2 November 1930 at age 72.¹
     He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ He was admitted to The Middle Temple in 1880 at London, England^G, entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-law.¹ He was admitted to King's Inn at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-law.¹ He lived at Devon Lawn, Victoria Road, Wimbledon Park, Wimbledon, London, England^G.¹

     Louisa Bayley was the daughter of Kennett Bayley and Louisa Jane Bowling.^1,2 She married George Alexander, son of John Alexander and Esther Brinkley, on 2 January 1891.¹ She died on 27 October 1941.¹
     From 2 January 1891, her married name became Alexander.¹

     Kennett Bayley was born on 31 October 1838.² He was the son of Reverend Kennett Champain Bayley and Charlotte Brockman.³ He married Louisa Jane Bowling, daughter of Reverend William Bowling, on 2 August 1864.² He died on 24 June 1911 at age 72.²
     He lived at Sevenoaks, Inchicore, County Dublin, Ireland.²

     Eleanor Alexander was the daughter of George Alexander and Louisa Bayley.¹ She died circa 1906.¹

     Anna Alexander is the daughter of George Alexander and Louisa Bayley.¹
