     Charlotte Stannus was the daughter of Captain Thomas Stannus and Caroline Hamilton.1 She married Reverend Charles William Doyne, son of Charles Powlett Doyne and Eliza Jane Vicars.1 She died on 5 January 1865.1
     Her married name became Doyne.1

     Thomas Alexander Stannus was born before 1824.1 He was the son of Thomas Stannus and Catherine Sophia Hamilton.1 He died in August 1851, accidentally drowned.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the 14th Madras Infantry.1

     Robert Trevor Stannus was born in 1824.2 He was the son of Thomas Stannus and Catherine Sophia Hamilton.2 He married Caroline Sophia Hamilton, daughter of John Hamilton and Sophia Stannus, on 3 March 1853.2 He died on 31 March 1888, without issue.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 16th Bengal Grenadiers.2 He fought in the Battle of Ghuznee.2 He fought in the Battle of Maharajpore.2 He fought in the Battle of Ferozshah.2 He fought in the Battle of Moodkee.2 He fought in the Battle of Sobraon.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Queen's County.2 He lived at Portarlington, County Laois, IrelandG.2 He lived at Carlingford, County Louth, IrelandG.2
