     Very Rev. James Stannus was the son of Captain Thomas Stannus and Caroline Hamilton.¹ He married Elizabeth Borrowes, daughter of Sir Erasmus Dixon Borrowes, 6th Bt. and Henrietta de Robillard Champagné, on 22 April 1816.¹ He died on 28 January 1876.¹
     He held the office of Dean of Ross.¹ He was the Rector at Lisburn, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹

     Elizabeth Borrowes was the daughter of Sir Erasmus Dixon Borrowes, 6th Bt. and Henrietta de Robillard Champagné.¹ She married Very Rev. James Stannus, son of Captain Thomas Stannus and Caroline Hamilton, on 22 April 1816.¹ She died on 14 June 1873.¹
     From 22 April 1816, her married name became Stannus.¹

     William Martineau married Margaretta Sarah Mason in 1860 at Derbyshire, England.²
