     Hon. Sir John Carnegie was the son of David Carnegie, 1st Earl of Southesk and Margaret Lindsay.¹ He married Jane Scrymgeour, daughter of John Scrymgeour, on 27 October 1632.¹ He died on 22 November 1654.¹
     He lived at Craig, Angus, Scotland^G.¹

     Jane Scrymgeour is the daughter of John Scrymgeour.¹ She married Hon. Sir John Carnegie, son of David Carnegie, 1st Earl of Southesk and Margaret Lindsay, on 27 October 1632.¹
     From 27 October 1632, her married name became Carnegie.¹

     David Carnegie was the son of Hon. Sir John Carnegie and Jane Scrymgeour.¹ He married Lady Catherine Wemyss, daughter of John Wemyss, 1st Earl of Wemyss and Jean Gray, on 28 December 1654.¹ He died in 1663, without issue.¹
     He lived at Craig, Angus, Scotland^G.¹

     Lady Catherine Wemyss was the daughter of John Wemyss, 1st Earl of Wemyss and Jean Gray.^1,2 She married, firstly, David Carnegie, son of Hon. Sir John Carnegie and Jane Scrymgeour, on 28 December 1654.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Andrew Ker of Greenland on 16 August 1664.¹ She died on 24 February 1668, without issue.¹
     From 28 December 1654, her married name became Carnegie.¹ From 16 August 1664, her married name became Ker.¹

     Sir Andrew Ker of Greenland married Lady Catherine Wemyss, daughter of John Wemyss, 1st Earl of Wemyss and Jean Gray, on 16 August 1664.¹

     unknown son Carnegie was the son of Sir David Carnegie, 1st Bt. and Catherine Gordon.¹ He died, young.¹

     Susan Scott was the daughter of David Scott.¹ She married George Carnegie, son of Sir John Carnegie of Pittarrow, 2nd Bt. and Mary Burnett, on 1 March 1769.¹ She died on 14 April 1821.¹
     From 1 March 1769, her married name became Carnegie.¹

     David Scott lived at Benholm, Kincardineshire, Scotland^G.¹

     John Fullerton-Carnegie was born on 5 January 1771.¹ He was the son of George Carnegie and Susan Scott.¹ He married Mary Strachen Fullerton on 23 April 1796.¹ He died on 25 December 1805 at age 34.¹
     He was given the name of John Carnegie at birth.¹

     Mary Strachen Fullerton married John Fullerton-Carnegie, son of George Carnegie and Susan Scott, on 23 April 1796.¹ She died on 6 July 1806.¹
     From 23 April 1796, her married name became Fullerton-Carnegie.¹
