     Emily Phyllis Shirley is the daughter of Sewallis Evelyn Shirley and Emily Jean Macdonald.² She married Captain Wilfrid Herbert Cecil Brownlow, son of Colonel Cecil Barry Brownlow, on 3 June 1916.¹
