     Captain Townsend Blennerhassett was born on 11 February 1829.1 He was the son of Henry Blennerhassett and Anne Bell.1 He married Catherine Eagar, daughter of Alexander Eagar, in September 1854.1 He died on 20 June 1867 at age 38, he drowned while trying to rescue a boatman at Castlemaine Bay, County Kerry, IrelandG.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Kerry Militia.1 He lived at Ballymacprior, Killorglin, County Kerry, IrelandG, which his widow sold to Dr. W. H. Dodd in 1870.1

     From 14 April 1880, her married name became McGillycuddy.1

     Edward Blennerhassett was born on 24 June 1838.1 He was the son of Henry Blennerhassett and Anne Bell.1 He married Cherry Greene Rothwell, daughter of Samuel Alleyne Rothwell and Elizabeth Irvine, on 13 February 1862.1 He died on 24 March 1874 at age 35.1
     He matriculated at Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1854.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1
