Colonel Gerald Blennerhassett was the son of Gerald Blennerhassett and unknown Wilson.1 He married, firstly, unknown Wilkinson, daughter of Joseph Wilkinson.1 He married, secondly, Lettice Bateman, daughter of John Bateman, on 26 June 1778.1 He died on 19 September 1806.1
He held the office of High Sheriff of County Limerick in 1756.2 He gained the rank of Colonel between 1778 and 1782 in the Riddlestown Hussars.1 He lived at Riddlestown Park, Doondonnell, County Limerick, IrelandG.1
