     Frances Elizabeth Wilson was the daughter of Captain Christopher Wilson.¹ She married, firstly, Colonel Sir Michael McCreagh.¹ She married, secondly, William Jones Armstrong, son of Reverend William Jones Armstrong and Margaret Tew, on 3 February 1842.¹ She died in September 1894.¹
     Her married name became McCreagh.¹ From 3 February 1842, her married name became Armstrong.¹

     Colonel Sir Michael McCreagh married Frances Elizabeth Wilson, daughter of Captain Christopher Wilson.¹ He died before 3 February 1842, when his widow remarried.¹
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Hanoverian Order (K.C.H.)¹

     Captain Christopher Wilson gained the rank of Captain in the 22nd Foot.¹

     Lieutenant William Fortescue Armstrong was born on 28 January 1843.¹ He was the son of William Jones Armstrong and Frances Elizabeth Wilson.¹ He died on 2 May 1871 at age 28, unmarried.¹

     Rt. Hon. Henry Bruce Armstrong was born on 27 July 1844.¹ He was the son of William Jones Armstrong and Frances Elizabeth Wilson.¹ He married Margaret Leader, daughter of William Leader, on 14 November 1883.¹ He died on 4 December 1943 at age 99.²

     Margaret Leader was the daughter of William Leader.¹ She married Rt. Hon. Henry Bruce Armstrong, son of William Jones Armstrong and Frances Elizabeth Wilson, on 14 November 1883.¹ She died on 2 May 1936.¹
     From 14 November 1883, her married name became Armstrong.¹ She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Armagh.¹

     William Leader was born in 1813.² He was the son of Nicholas Philpot Leader.² He died on 13 February 1861.²

     Major William Fortescue Armstrong was born on 13 August 1885 at London, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Henry Bruce Armstrong and Margaret Leader.¹ He married Madeleine Marthe Émilie Marie Toucas, daughter of Marie Joseph Georges Ferdinand Toucas and Claire Antoinette Euphrasie Massillon, on 25 October 1920 at London, England^G.^1,2 He died on 13 April 1928 at age 42, killed while steeple chasing.¹ He died, killed while steeple-chasing.³

     Lieutenant Michael Richard Leader Armstrong was born on 27 November 1889.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Henry Bruce Armstrong and Margaret Leader.¹ He died on 22 April 1916 at age 26 at Thiepval Wood, France, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Engineers.¹

     Henry Maxwell Armstrong was born on 12 February 1891.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Henry Bruce Armstrong and Margaret Leader.¹ He married Frances Maude Smith, daughter of Gilbert Joshua Smith and Edith Charlotte Anderson-Pelham, on 8 April 1923.² He died on 13 August 1972 at age 81, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, with the Canadian Field Artillery.¹ He lived at The Anchorage, Bursledon, Hampshire, England^G.¹
