     Angel Gore was the daughter of Sir Paul Gore, 1st Bt. and Isabella Wickliffe.^1,2 She married Edward Archdale, son of John Archdale and Frances Honings.¹
     Her married name became Archdale.¹

     Richard Gore was born on 16 October 1728.¹ He was the son of Sir Ralph Gore, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Ashe.^1,2 He married Martha Fiott, daughter of Reverend Thomas Fiott, on 1 June 1766, but more likely 1 June 1756.¹ He died in 1816.¹
     He lived at Sandymount, County Wicklow, Ireland^G.¹

     William Archdale was the son of Edward Archdale and Angel Gore.¹ He married Elizabeth Mervyn, daughter of Henry Mervyn, in 1677.¹ He died in 1722.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff in 1667, and again in 1692.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Old Castle Archdale, County Fermanagh, Ireland^G, which had been rebuilt, but was again destroyed by fire during the 'troubles' in 1689.¹ He held the office of member, Commission of Array for County Fermanagh, during the time of Queen Anne.¹

     Elizabeth Mervyn was the daughter of Henry Mervyn.¹ She married William Archdale, son of Edward Archdale and Angel Gore, in 1677.¹
     From 1677, her married name became Archdale.¹

     Henry Mervyn held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)¹ He lived at Trillick, County Tyrone, Ireland^G.¹

     Colonel Mervyn Archdale was born in 1685.¹ He was the son of William Archdale and Elizabeth Mervyn.¹ He died on 27 December 1726, unmarried.¹
     He graduated from Trinity Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1705 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1708 in the Colonel Irvine's Militia Regiment of Dragoons.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff in 1714.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in 1715 in the Dragoon Regiment of Fermanagh.¹ As of 1722, Colonel Mervyn Archdale was considered the head of the Archdale family, succeeding his father, William Archdale.¹ He lived at Castle Archdale, County Fermanagh, Ireland^G.¹

     Captain Edward Archdale was born in 1694.¹ He was the son of William Archdale and Elizabeth Mervyn.¹ He married, firstly, Francis Caldwell, daughter of Sir John Caldwell, 1st Bt..¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Cole, daughter of John Cole, in 1728.¹ He died on 8 October 1728, without issue.¹
     He graduated from Trinity Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1716 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Sir Gustavus Hume's Regiment of Dragoons.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff in 1722.¹ As of 27 December 1726, Captain Edward Archdale was considered the head of the Archdale family, succeeding his brother Mervyn Archdale.¹ He lived at Castle Archdale, County Fermanagh, Ireland^G.¹

     Francis Caldwell was the daughter of Sir John Caldwell, 1st Bt.¹ She married Captain Edward Archdale, son of William Archdale and Elizabeth Mervyn.¹
     Her married name became Archdale.¹

     Sir John Caldwell, 1st Bt. lived at Castle Caldwell, County Fermanagh, Ireland^G.¹ He gained the title of 1st Baronet Caldwell.

     Elizabeth Cole was the daughter of John Cole.¹ She married, firstly, Captain Edward Archdale, son of William Archdale and Elizabeth Mervyn, in 1728.¹ She married Hon. Bysshe Molesworth, son of Robert Molesworth, 1st Viscount Molesworth of Swords and Hon. Laetitia Coote, on 7 December 1731.² She died in January 1770.¹
     From 1728, her married name became Archdale.¹ Her married name became Molesworth.¹
