     Sir Archibald Primrose of Ravelston, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1692.¹ He was the son of George Primrose of Ravelston, younger and Janet Cuninghame.¹ He married, firstly, Lady Margaret Fleming, daughter of John Fleming, 6th Earl of Wigton.¹ He married, secondly, Lady Mary Primrose, daughter of Archibald Primrose, 1st Earl of Rosebery and Dorothea Cressy, on 19 November 1724.¹ He died on 15 November 1746 at Carlisle, Cumberland, England^G, hanged for his part in the 1745 Uprising.¹
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Foulis, of Ravelston [N.S., 1661] on 5 August 1707.¹ He sold Ravelston.¹ His title and estates were forfeited.¹

     John Montgomery married Elizabeth Eglinton, daughter of Sir Hugh Eglinton of that Ilk and Egidia Stewart.¹
     He obtained the territorial Baronies of Eglinton and Ardrossan through his wife.¹ He fought in the Battle of Otterburn in 1388, where he captured Sir Henry Percy.¹

     Lady Mary Primrose was the daughter of Archibald Primrose, 1st Earl of Rosebery and Dorothea Cressy.^1,2 She married Sir Archibald Primrose of Ravelston, 2nd Bt., son of George Primrose of Ravelston, younger and Janet Cuninghame, on 19 November 1724.¹ She died on 17 December 1746.¹

     Sara Alexandra Redpath is the daughter of Niel Redpath.¹ She married Hugh Archibald William Montgomerie, 19th Earl of Eglinton, son of Archibald George Montgomerie, 18th Earl of Eglinton and Marion Carolina Dunn-Yarker, on 19 December 1991.¹ She and Hugh Archibald William Montgomerie, 19th Earl of Eglinton were divorced in 1998.¹
     From 19 December 1991, her married name became Montgomerie.¹
