     Sir James Thynne was the son of Sir Thomas Thynne and Lady Maria Tuchet.¹ He married Lady Isabella Rich, daughter of Henry Rich, 1st Earl of Holland and Isabel Cope.¹ He died on 12 October 1670, without issue.¹
     He lived at Longleat House, Warminster, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Henry Rich, 1st Earl of Holland was baptised on 19 August 1590.² He was the son of Robert Rich, 1st Earl of Warwick and Lady Penelope Devereux.³ He married Isabel Cope, daughter of Sir Walter Cope and Dorothy Grenville, before 1616.⁴ He died on 9 March 1649 at age 58 at Westminster Hall, London, England^G, executed by decapitation.⁵ He was buried on 10 March 1649.⁶
     He was educated at Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.⁷ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicester in 1610.⁷ He was appointed Knight on 3 June 1610.⁷ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Leicester in 1614.⁷ He was Captain of the Yeomen of the Guard in 1617.⁷ He was created 1st Baron Kensington on 8 March 1623. He gained the title of 1st Earl of Holland on 15 September 1624. He was appointed Knight, Order of the Garter (K.G.) on 13 December 1625.⁷ He held the office of Chancellor of the Cambridge University between 1628 and 1649.⁷ He gained the rank of General of the Horse on 2 February 1639.⁷

     He lived at Richmond, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Stuarta Balquanquill is the daughter of Dr. Walter Balquanquill.¹ She married Sir Thomas Thynne, son of Sir Thomas Thynne and Lady Maria Tuchet, on 6 September 1642.¹
     From 6 September 1642, her married name became Thynne.¹

     Dr. Walter Balquanquill held the office of Dean of Durham.¹

     Reverend Arthur Christopher Thynne was born on 9 November 1832.¹ He was the son of Reverend Lord John Thynne and Anne Constantia Beresford.¹ He married Gwenllian Elizabeth Fanny Isabel Kendall, daughter of Russell Kendall, on 28 June 1859.¹ He died on 2 January 1908 at age 75.¹
     He held the office of Hon. Canon of Truro.¹ He was the Rector at Kirkhampton, Cornwall, England^G.¹

     Gwenllian Elizabeth Fanny Isabel Kendall was the daughter of Russell Kendall.¹ She married Reverend Arthur Christopher Thynne, son of Reverend Lord John Thynne and Anne Constantia Beresford, on 28 June 1859.¹ She died on 14 March 1905.¹
     Her married name became Thynne.

     Russell Kendall lived at Walthamstow, Essex, England^G.¹

     Captain William Frederick Thynne was born on 8 August 1834.¹ He was the son of Reverend Lord John Thynne and Anne Constantia Beresford.¹ He died on 11 March 1858 at age 23 at Lucknow, India^G.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd Battalion, Rifle Brigade.¹
