Stephen de Cobham, 1st Lord Cobham (of Runham) was the son of Sir Henry de Cobham and Joan Penchester.1 He married, secondly, Avice (?)2 He married, firstly, Isabel (?) before 1309.2 He died in 1332.1 An inquest post mortem was held for his on 20 January 1332/33.2
He was appointed Knight in 1306.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kent in 1324.2 He was created 1st Lord Cobham, of Runham [England by writ] on 3 December 1326.2
