     Lady Jean Hamilton was born on 5 February 1607 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Hamilton, 1st Earl of Haddington and Margaret Foulis.1 A contract for the marriage of Lady Jean Hamilton and John Kennedy, 6th Earl of Cassillis was signed on 7 January 1621/22 at Whitehall, London, EnglandG.1 She died before 15 December 1642.1 She was buried on 5 January 1642/43.1
     From 7 January 1621/22, her married name became Kennedy. After her marriage, Lady Jean Hamilton was styled as Countess of Cassillis on 7 January 1621/22.

     Henry Ker, Lord Ker was the son of Robert Ker, 1st Earl of Roxburghe and Jane Drummond.2,3 He married Lady Margaret Hay, daughter of William Hay, 10th Earl of Erroll and Lady Anne Lyon, on 3 February 1638.4 He died on 1 February 1642/43.1
     He was styled as Master of Roxburgh.1 He was also known as Harry Ker. He was styled as Lord Ker.1

     Lady Margaret Hay was the daughter of William Hay, 10th Earl of Erroll and Lady Anne Lyon.2 She married, firstly, Henry Ker, Lord Ker, son of Robert Ker, 1st Earl of Roxburghe and Jane Drummond, on 3 February 1638.1 She married, secondly, John Kennedy, 6th Earl of Cassillis, son of Hew Kennedy, Master of Cassillis and Katherine Macdowall, on 15 March 1643/44.1 A contract for the marriage of Lady Margaret Hay and John Kennedy, 6th Earl of Cassillis was signed on 20 February 1643/44.1 She died circa 19 April 1695.3 She was buried on 22 April 1695 at St. Martin-in-the-Fields Church, Covent Garden, London, EnglandG.2 Her will was proven (by probate) on 4 July 1695.2
     From 3 February 1638, her married name became Ker. From 15 March 1643/44, her married name became Kennedy. After her marriage, Lady Margaret Hay was styled as Countess of Cassillis on 15 March 1643/44. Her last will was dated 12 April 1695.

     Mary Fox was the daughter of John Fox and Mary Weld.1 She married John Kennedy, 7th Earl of Cassillis, son of John Kennedy, 6th Earl of Cassillis and Lady Margaret Hay, on 27 February 1697/98.1 She died on 12 September 1746 at Kensington, London, EnglandG.1 She was buried on 17 September 1746 at St. Batholomew's-the-Less Church, London, EnglandG.1
     She lived in 1697 at St. Gile's-in-the-Fields Church, London, EnglandG.1 After her marriage, Mary Fox was styled as Countess of Cassillis on 27 February 1697/98. Her married name became Kennedy.
