     Janet Kennedy was the daughter of Fergus Kennedy of Knockdaw.1 She married James Dalrymple of Stair and Drummurchie, son of James Dalrymple of Stair and Isabel Kennedy, on 9 September 1617.2 She died in 1663.1
     From 9 September 1617, her married name became Dalrymple.2

     Sir Mathew Wharton Wilson, 2nd Bt. was born on 20 March 1827.2 He was the son of Sir Mathew Wilson, 1st Bt. and Sophia Louisa Emerson Amcotts.1,3 He married Gratiana Mary Thomas, daughter of Admiral Richard Thomas, on 13 November 1850.2 He died on 1 March 1909 at age 81.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 11th Hussars.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Gloucestershire.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Wilson, of Eshton Hall, co. York [U.K., 1874] on 18 January 1891.2

     Gratiana Mary Thomas was born on 9 August 1831.2 She was the daughter of Admiral Richard Thomas.3 She married Sir Mathew Wharton Wilson, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Mathew Wilson, 1st Bt. and Sophia Louisa Emerson Amcotts, on 13 November 1850.1 She died on 25 March 1922 at age 90.2
     From 13 November 1850, her married name became Wilson.2

     Sir Mathew Wilson, 1st Bt. was born on 29 August 1802.2 He was the son of Mathew Wilson and Margaret Clive Wilson.1,3 He married, firstly, Sophia Louisa Emerson Amcotts, daughter of Sir Wharton Amcotts, 1st Bt. and Amelia Campbell, on 15 June 1826.2 He married, secondly, Frances (?) on 20 August 1878.2 He died on 18 January 1891 at age 88.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Clitheroe between 1841 and 1842.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Clitheroe between 1847 and 1853.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for North Yorkshire between 1874 and 1885.2 He was created 1st Baronet Wilson, of Eshton Hall, co.
