     Frederick Every was born on 9 April 1836.¹ He was the son of Frederick Simon Every and Mary Brutton.¹ He married Henrietta Jeffreys, daughter of Reverend Charles Jeffreys, on 22 May 1872.¹ He died on 3 November 1892 at age 56.¹

     Susan Agnes Bernard, Baroness Macdonald of Earnscliffe was the daughter of Hon. T. J. Bernard.¹ She married Rt. Hon. Sir John Alexander Macdonald, son of Hugh Macdonald and Helen Shaw, on 16 February 1867.¹ She died on 5 September 1920.¹
     From 16 February 1867, her married name became Macdonald.¹ She was created 1st Baroness Macdonald of Earnscliffe, in the Province of Ontario and the Dominion of Canada [U.K.] on 14 August 1891, in regconition of her late husband's services.¹ On her death, her title became extinct.¹
