Frederick Every was born on 9 April 1836.1 He was the son of Frederick Simon Every and Mary Brutton.1 He married Henrietta Jeffreys, daughter of Reverend Charles Jeffreys, on 22 May 1872.1 He died on 3 November 1892 at age 56.1

Susan Agnes Bernard, Baroness Macdonald of Earnscliffe was the daughter of Hon. T. J. Bernard.1 She married Rt. Hon. Sir John Alexander Macdonald, son of Hugh Macdonald and Helen Shaw, on 16 February 1867.1 She died on 5 September 1920.1
From 16 February 1867, her married name became Macdonald.1 She was created 1st Baroness Macdonald of Earnscliffe, in the Province of Ontario and the Dominion of Canada [U.K.] on 14 August 1891, in regconition of her late husband's services.1 On her death, her title became extinct.1
