     From 10 June 1875, her married name became Akers-Douglas. After her marriage, Adeline Mary Austen-Smith was styled as Viscountess Chilston on 6 July 1911.

     Aretas Akers-Douglas, 2nd Viscount Chilston was born on 17 February 1876 at London, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Aretas Akers-Douglas, 1st Viscount Chilston and Adeline Mary Austen-Smith.3 He married Amy Jennings-Bramly, daughter of Major John Robert Jennings-Bramly and Bertha Caroline Larking, on 6 August 1903 at Florence, ItalyG.4 He died on 25 July 1947 at age 71.1
     He was educated between 1890 and 1895 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.4 He was with the Diplomatic Service in 1898.1 He was 3rd Secretary to Cairo in 1900.1 He was 2nd Secretary in 1905.1 He was Acting Agent and Consul to Sofia in 1907.1 He was Chargé d'Affairs to Montenegro between 1911 and 1914.1 He was 1st Secretary in 1912.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Royal Scots.1 He was Chargé d'Affairs to Romania in 1914.1 He was with the Foreign Office in 1915.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1918.1 He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Austria between 1921 and 1928.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Chilston, of Boughton Malherbe, co.      Major John Robert Jennings-Bramly was born on 5 August 1841 at Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, England.2 He was the son of Reverend Thomas Jennings-Bramly and Louise Cocker.2 He married Bertha Caroline Larking, daughter of John Wingfield Larking and Rosine Teresa Elizabeth di Tibaldi, on 21 November 1870 at Hartfield, Sussex, England.2 He died on 26 April 1893 at age 51.2
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Horse Artillery.1 He lived at The Firs, Lee, Kent, England.2

     From 6 August 1903, her married name became Akers-Douglas. After her marriage, Amy Jennings-Bramly was styled as Viscountess Chilston on 15 January 1926.

Aretas Akers-Douglas was born on 7 November 1905 at Athens, GreeceG.2 He was the son of Aretas Akers-Douglas, 2nd Viscount Chilston and Amy Jennings-Bramly.3 He married, firstly, Irene Goss, daughter of George Richard Goss, on 25 May 1932.1 He and Irene Goss were divorced in 1938.1 He married, secondly, Marcia Victoria Brace, daughter of John Myddleton Brace, in 1939.1 He died on 28 February 1940 at age 34, following a motor accident, without issue.1
